Ce catalogue a été édité à l'occasion de la vente d'un bol exceptionnel de l'empereur Xuande (1426-1435) de la dynastie Ming(1368-1644) à Hong Kong, le 5 avril 2017.
Ce bol présentait un décor de poissons bleu et blanc, thème qui devint un genre à part entière dans la peinture à l'encre depuis la dynastie Song (960-1279).
